At first, I thought there must have been some disturbance that I couldn’t see, or birds or squirrels or something that was causing this. There was nothing. The leaves continued to fall straight down for probably ten minutes. The ground immediately surrounding the trees became blanketed by these leaves. And then, as actors receiving their cue, the leaves stopped hilling.
