Well, it wasn’t the ran-ofthe mill spring gobbler season. However the boy scouts of Pack 123 certainly enjoyed their season on Sunday, November 18 at the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department. Thanks to the efforts of their den leaders the boys had an absolutely wonderful time.
Six-year-old Jonathan Jenkins, a first grader at Rappahannock County Elementary School, son of Jr. and Michelle Jenkins ofWashington, took first place in several of the four events. Each scout with their “akela” was required to design their own homemade bow and arrows. The criteria was that they not use any professional archery equipment or accessories.
