Ennis Julian Bawkey, 85, of Rixeyville died Thursday, November 15, 2007 at his residence.
He was bom September 16, 1922 to the late William Claud Bawkey and Fannie Esther Cobb Bawkey.
Mr. Bawkey served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of Gourdvine Baptist Church and actively served as Deacon for many years and was a lifetime member of the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Bawkey and his wife were avid quail hunters and were well known for making homemade apple butter and sweet pepper relish. He and his brother Johnny were field tried
