Day, let’s remember those who are less fortunate and make Thursday a real day of prayer and Thanksgiving for all his many blessings.

Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to the family of Mrs. Gladys Brown Highlander who passed away at University of Virginia Medical last week. She was the widow of Donald Highlander, formerly of Woodville.

Little Vanessa-Lynn Frazier celebrated her second birthday on Saturday with a party given by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Frazier on Castleton Ford Road, with about 20 family members in attendance.

Our friends at Woodville Baptist Church held a special service Sunday afternoon when Bill Welch was ordained to the Gospel ministry and he is their new pastor.

Mill Kellie Bragg, a first year student at Pennsylvania Bible College arrived Friday to spend the Thanksgiving Holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Bragg and family.
