Castleton burglary
Nearly $7,500 worth of electronic equipment was stolen from a Castleton house last week. Items missing include a TV, a video camera and two laptop computers.
A woman called the sheriff’s office on Nov. 13 to report that her daughter had returned to their home on Aaron Mountain Road to find the doors open and lights on. She advised her to stay with a family member until law enforcement personnel arrived.
The Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crime but has not identified any suspects.

A 27-year-old man is facing charges of drug possession and assault and battery after an altercation in Huntly on Nov. 13.
Robert Halko was arrested at a Little Long Mountain Road home after allegedly assaulting a woman. He was searched and found to be in possession of what was suspected to be marijuana.
