Super Sitteis Workshop
Rappahannock County 4-H is offering a Super Sitters’ workshop. This program is geared to teach 12 to 19-year -olds how to become great babysitters. Participants will learn skills to help them work well with children of various ages and abilities, hyper or unhappy children, knowing when to call the parents, safety concerns, knowing what to charge per hour, and learning a bag of tricks that they can take with them to any babysitting job. Plus, any parent would be excited to hire someone who has taken this workshop. This workshop is FREE for anyone 12-19 years of age. Once we have at least five people interested in participating, we will schedule a SaL for participants to meet for one six hour day. If you would like more information about this workshop, please call Jenny Kapsa, 4-H Coordinator, at the Extension office at 540675-3619.
