That meant a lot of Kim Hutcheson.

Hutcheson carried the Lady Panthers in the nightcap as she poured in a career-high 24 points. 15 rebounds, and three blocked shots in a 51-47 victory over St. James school.

“Without Kim, we’re not even close,” Coach Wilde said. “This is the type of game we’ve been waiting for from Kim. She was all over the place tonight. She was very active and had a nose for the ball.”

While Hutcheson dominated for most of the contest, in the end. it was two big free throws from Emily Carter that sealed the Lady Panthers second win of the season - matching their win total from last year.

After St. James erased a 13-point second half deficit to cut the lead to 49-47. Carter connected on 2-of-4 free throws in the final 15 seconds to make it a two possession game.
