The man who pleaded guilty to stealing more than $19,000 worth of equipment from Rappahannock County High School received his sentence Dec. 6 in Rappahannock County Circuit Court.
Grahm Rexford Masters was in court to hear his punishment for the July 2006 school burglary as well as a March 2006 break-in at his neighbor’s house in Castleton and a probation violation.
Masters pleaded guilty Sept 6 to breaking and entering and grand larceny at the school. He stole an estimated $19,500 worth of tools and band equipment during the incident. *
When Masters was caught selling the school’s property to a pawn shop in Prince William County, police were able to connect him to a separate burglary in Castleton. They found that he previously had sold some items from his neighbor’s house to the same pawn shop.
On Oct. 4, Masters pleaded guilty to breaking into his neighbor’s house on March 18, 2006, and stealing several items, including a ,22-caliber longrifle, ammunition and a fly-fishing rod, which he later sold to the Prince William pawn shop.
