Trial set for robbery
A Jeffersonton man accused of a robbery at an Amissville home is scheduled to stand trial March 25.
Steven John Grant, 30, has been charged with four felony counts. He is one of two suspects in the robbery. The other suspect is still at large.
The robbery victim said two men wearing masks made from panty hose entered the house, located on Rollins Ford Road, an Aug. 23, 2006. One of the men had a pistol, the victim said. Several other people were visiting the home at the time and they fled when the robbers entered the house.

A car accident on US. 211 sent one person to the Fauquier Emergency Room with minor injuries Saturday afternoon.
The two-vehicle wreck happened around 2 p.m. at the corner of Gid Brown Hollow Road and U.S. 211 westbound, according to the incident report at the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office. The Sperryville Volunteer
