Dec. 16: A Christmas Festival
of Nine Lessons and Carols
Beginning at 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, the Grace Church Choirs with Organ and Brass under the direction of Samuel Carabetta, Organist and Choirmaster will present A Christmas Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. This beloved service of readings and music originated at King’s College, Cambridge England. Sung in the beauty of candlelight, fie service win include works of Elizabeth Poston, John Rutter, David Willcocks and Ralph Vaughan Williams in addition to traditional Christmas carols for all to sing. The congregation is invited to join the artists at a reception following the service.
