Flint Hill Firemen’s carnival opened last night with a brilliant display of fireworks and much enthusiasm concern ing the three remaining nights of the activities. The midway holds a large number of kiddie and thrill rides; the food stand is heavy with the aroma of hamburgers hot dogs coffee and other treats. A parade is scheduled for tonight and will have many units including floats, fire and re& cue equipment, bands, majorettes, etc. Leading the second division of the Flint Hill parade Thursday at 7 p. m. will be the Tam O’Shanter All-Girl Kiltie Corps which is composed of 79 girls from towns throughout Somerset County, Pa. This spectacular corps, complete with drill team, color guard, and music section of drums, glockenspiels, and bagpipes, has captured 105 First Place Awards in six states since their organization in 1959.
