Road Construction
Worker Injures Leg
Edgar Brinkley of Bath County an employee of Branch and Associates, sustained a leg injury F riday while at w o r k on the road construction site near Massies Corner. Mr. Brinkley was operating a Crawler pan on a steep, rock portion of the road when the machine began to slide. Fearing that it might turn over, Brinkley jumped to the ground and in so doing severly injured the ligaments in his leg. He was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal by Rappahannock Rescue Squad He was transferred to a Staunton hospital later and remains a patient there.
Little Leaguers
To Play Madison
The Rappahannock Little Lea gue baseball teams will play a double header Saturday at 4 p.m. with Madison. The games will be on the diamond at Washington Elementary school. All boys who wish to ride on the Jaycee float in the Flint Hill Parade Thursday night should be at the line up point by 6:30 p.m.
