Fashion Trends for Fall
Women are always interested in what’s new in fashions, so let’s look at the Fall fashion picture for 1965. The news for fall, according to Mrs. Lois E. Beaufait, Clothing Specialist at V.P.I., is not new design or cut! These factors have remained similar for several seasons. The easy fit, and comfortable styles are still the ones women want and buy. It is unfortunate that certain figure types have little selection. This is because the clothing industry is geared to the young look... and the youthful figure. Manufacturers gear themselves to where the most sales appear to be. The news for Fall 1965 will be color and fabric design. Fabric design is influenced by the art of the day.
