A special 4-H all Star Key Award program for new members in this area will be held Saturday and Sunday, August 7 and 8, at Powell’s Fort Valley 4-H Camp near Front Royal, J. A Reynolds, associ ate state 4-H club agent, an nounced today from Blacksburg.
The boys and girls were tapped for the All Starsone of 4-H’8 highest honors at the 42nd annual State 4-H Short Course last month at Virginia Tech. The weekend program will consist of organized recreation, with a presentation banquet Saturday night, follow ed by a business meeting and election of district officers Sunday, Sponsorship of the 4-H public speaking contest at the district level will also be discussed. New All Stars from Rappahan nock County invited to the pro gram are: Gloria Durden and Ellis Smith.
