HD Members at
Federation Meeting
Rappahannock County Home Demonstration Clubs were represented at the State Federation meeting at VPI last week by five members. They were Mrs. W. A. Gentry, outgoing State secretary, and Mrs. Ida Trump of Flint Hill and Mrs. J. L. Walter, Mrs. F. L. Bowey and Mrs. Nelson Burner of Amissville. The group was accompanied by Miss Doris Daugherty, the County Hon>e Demonstration Agent. The theme for the conference was “Reach Out in Service.* Speakers included, Mrs. Lydia Lynde, Family Life Specialise USDA (retired), Mr. Fred G. Pollard, Member of Virginia General Assembly, Dr. Addison M. Duvall, Director, Division of Mental Health, Ga., and Miss Barbara Moore, I.F.Y.F.. to Peru from Frederick County, Virginia. Other activities of the meeting included a program on the natiorv al meeting in Hawaii, an informal reception, a tour of VPI campus and trial gardens and exhibit workshop.
