Positions Here
Mr. and Mrs. LeRoyC. Boyd have given up their teaching position in Rappahannock Courv ty to teach in St. Mary's, County, Maryland. Mr. Boyd has taught at Amissville Graded School for the past four years and Mrs. Boyd has taught at W. A. Russell Graded School, Flint Hill, for the past three years. The Boyd’s, who are originally from South Carolina, state that they have enjoyed their work in Rappahannock County.
Colonel R. Hunter of Columbus, Ohio was the guest this week of Mr. and Mrs. Will Timbers in Washington and visited other friends in the county. He was a former resi dent of Rappahannock. Mrs. Susie Majors and grand son Robert Adams of Sperryville are visiting relatives in New York this week.
Mrs. Ethel Bailey returned home Thursday after spending three days at St. Paul College in Lawrenceville as delegate to the Eastern Star Convention.
Mrs. Jeannette Pierce and two sons of Williamsburg are spending some time with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bailey.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brown and children of Washington, D. C. spent the weekend with Mrs. Brown’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bailey.
Otha Gatewood of I larrisburg Pa. spent Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Timbers. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Timbers of Washington, D. C. attended the Homecoming services at First Baptist Church Sunday.
