urday of Mr. and Mrs. B.'M. Verner. Dr. and Mrs. James M. Thornton have returned to their home in Gate City after spending a vacation with relatives in Rappahannock. Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow of Culpeper were guests on Sunday night and Monday of their brother and sister-in law Mr. and Mrs. Kaury Brown who also had as their supper guests on Sunday evening Mrs. E. W. Gore and Mrs. Helen Brown Bruce. Rodes Brown, Jr., of Staunton who is on vacation this week, with Mrs. Brown and their family are spending several days at Rock Villa with Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown. Robert Menefee who has been visiting his sister Mrs. M. P. Watkins in Richmond has returned to the Lee Highway Hotel. 1
