Dulaney has retired as Postmaster of Woodville Post Office after serving in this position for over 22 years, His retirement became effective Saturday, July 31, 1965 at noon. Mr. Dulaney is still an able and active man and retired only because he had reached the age which makes retirement mandatory. Mrs. Ruth Orange, who has been the assistant in the post office for the past four years, has been appointed acting post master. Mr. Dulaney will assist Mrs. Orange for a few weeks.
Mr. Dulaney Is a native of Madison County and was born at Etlan. He moved to Rappahannock in April 1941. In March of 1943 he was named acting postmaster for Woodville and acquired a permanent status in July of 1944, continuing until his retirement Saturday. Mr. Dulaney has two daughters, Mrs. Donald Fisher, Jr. of Arlington and Miss Merle Dulaney at home, who will en roll in Roller Business College, Front Royal in Septem ber. Mrs. Dulaney died several years ago. His main hobby is gardening and he plans to spend much time at that, and says he believes he will have enough put tering to keep him busy. The community of Woodville joined forces Saturday after noon and held a retirement party for Mr. Dulaney at the
