In Auto Accident
Lester L. Shaw of Culpeper, an employee of the Rappahannock National Bank in Wash ington, was fortunate enough to escape serious injury Sunday night when his convertible which he was driving was slammed from the rear by another car and flipped on its top. He and his companion, Miss Doris Frazier, crawled out safely with only minor cuts and bruises. According to reports they were proceeding south on U. S. 29 when a '57 sedan swerved out to pass them and smashing into the rear caused the convertible to become out of control, and crashed into a small foreign-make car. Heavy damage was sustained to both car8. The driver of the sedan was not immediately identified. The five persons involved were treated and released at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
