Mr. ana Mrs. tawara Kaper and granddaughter Kem Raper spent the weekend at their summer home here. Dr. and Mrs. Carl Kauffman of Suffolk were visitors Thursday of Mrs. Gilbert Weakley and the Harry Gallihughs. Mrs Kauffman remained overnight while Dr. Kauffman visited his father in Luray. Carl Fincham returned to his home Monday after undergoing eye surgery at the University of Virginia Hospital. Dinner guests Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gallihugh and Mrs. Gilbert Weakley were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Petti and Miss Elizabeth Aylor of Washington, D. C. Afternoon callers were Miss Lottie Burton, ‘ Washington, Va. and the Rev. B. B. Kent of Criglersville.
Mrs. Dewey Jenkins and granddaughters Misses Frances and Barbara Jenkins of Culpeper were dinner guests recently of Mrs. Robert Lillard and Miss Eilene Lillard. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gallihugh and Mrs. Gilbert Weakley attended the piano recital given by Mrs. Reva Harris on her lawn in Madison, Friday evening. Susan was a participant in the recital. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Coates visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Deal, several evenings this'week.
