In The Laundry

—Use automatic washers only when loaded near to their rated capacity.

—When buying a washing machine, buy a water saving model.

In The Lawn Or Garden

A half-inch garden hose delivers more than 600 gallons of water an hour at normal household pressure. A 5-8-inch hose carries more than a 1,000 gallons per hour.

—Water your lawn or garden only in the cool of the day. Hot or windy days increase evaporation. —Water the ground slowly to allow time for the water to soak in. This avoids runoff. ■ *—Sprinkle children at the same time you water the lawn. —Turn off the water when finished. A leaky hose nozzle or unattended sprinkler can waste thousands of gallons of water a day. —Don’t sweep walks and driveways with a stream of costly water. —Mulch plants to retain moisture.

Meeting Set

++++

The sin, confusion, and disillusionment of life can be replaced by righteousness, joy, contentment, and happiness. A peace can be imparted to the soul that is not dependent on outward circumstances. This cure was provided by Jesus Christ two thousand years ago on the cross of Calvary.
