Beta Sigma Phi. Sorority has announced that Mrs. Linda Beth Toth and the Xi Delta Pi Chapter of Front Royal have won the first place award in the International Publicity Contest which is open to competition by 250,000 chapters in 16 countries. The award is presented annually for the best journalistic coverage of a sorority chapter’s community efforts in culture, social, and service coordination. Mrs. Toth, an honors graduate with a master’s degree in English from the University of Virginia, and who coordinated and wrote Xi Delta Pi’s news releases, received an award certificate and a monetary award for her chapter.
A charter member of the Xi Delta Pi Chapter, Mrs. Toth has been elected its vice-president, president, and extension offices, served as vice-president of the Winchester City Council, and was chosen to be her chapter’s Bicentennial Valentine Queen. She has twice won the
