Jenkins

Silas William Jenkins of Washington, D. C., formerly of Sperryville, died August 25, 1977 at the VA Hospital in Washington, D. C.

A funeral service was conducted Monday at the Geest Funeral Chapel, Culpeper. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery there.

Mr. Jenkins was born March 8, 1921, a son of Carroll M. Jenkins of Front Royal and the late Arrie Pullen Jenkins.

Other survivors besides his wife, Margie Yowell Jenkins, of Culpeper, are three brothers, Charles W. Jenkins of Severn, Md., Jack Jenkins of Front Royal and Lewis C. Jenkins, and one sister, Mrs. Virginia Tobin of Front Royal.
