Only senior citizens eligible for free tuition.

The last date to register for classes for the Fall Quarter is Wednesday, September 21. (The College does not plan to conduct late registration during the first week of classes.) Tuition and fees must be paid when registering. To be eligible for instate tuition, a person must be and have been domiciled in Virginia for a period of at least one year prior to the quarter for which the in-state tuition is sought.

In-State Tuition is: $8.50 per credit for part-time. $100.00 per quarter for fulltime (12 or more credits). Out-Of-State Tuition is: $28.00 per credit for parttime. $335.00 per quarter for full time.

Full-time students are required to pay a $1.25 student activity fee. Checks for payment must be made out for the exact amount. The Bookstore will be open for students wishing to purchase books and supplies. A separate check is required for Bookstore purchases.

New students who plan to be full-time should contact the Counseling Center to schedule a registration appointment. All other registration will be on a walkin, first-come, first-served basis within the priorities.

Coordinator of Admissions and Records, Mr. Carroll Todd Smith, has advised that students should register as soon as possible to get the best selection of classes.

Mr. Smith also advised that classes begin on Monday, September 26. Schedules are available at the College. For a schedule, or more information, contact the College, or call the Student Services Receptionist at 869-1120.

First Aid Classes

The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor First Aid classes beginning Monday, Sep, tember 12 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the fire hall. Richard Farrell and Ben Hoover will be the instructors. Anyone interested in taking this course should contact: BRUCE WILLIAMS, 6357511.
