More Than One Strike
“Someone who skips out on a contract has created more than one strike,” commented Newbill Miller, citing the problems created for the county by Carter’s unexpected resignation. He said he didn’t think the cdunty should be in any big hurry to hire a new administrator, particularly if the choice was limited to persons currently under contract to other systems.
Bloomer noted that he wouldn’t discuss employment with any individual who hadn’t first informed his superintendent of the negotiations.
