The contest will begin at 3 pm. Sunday at Rappahannock Elementary School, room 37. Any eligible young person may enter by contacting a music teacher or Col. Nels Parson, 675-3523. The contestant must have memorized his presentation and must provide three copies of his music to the judges.
“This is an excellent opportunity for young people to improve their musical abilities, to develop poise and confidence before an audience and to have their performance criticized by three professional musicians. Col. Parson said.
The public is invited to attend the contest.

The Washington Business Council still needs craftspeople to show their wares at the craft fair scheduled for Saturday, April 1. There will be no fee charged for display space at the all-day festivities that will center around the Trinity Episcopal Church parking lot.
