beauty and tremendous educational potential.

More than 35,000 youngsters participate in Northern District 4-H programs conducted by the Virginia Tech Extension Division. The Northern District takes in Rappahannock, Madison, Orange, Culpeper, Warren and Fauquier counties and extends north to include Frederick, west to Shenandoah, east to Arlington and south to •Spotsylvania. According to Extension agents, this is one of the fastest growing 4-H areas in Virginia. Present rented facilities can only accommodate seven per cent of the children currently enrolled in 4-H programs and can't begin to handle the more than 250,000 boys and girls of 4-H age who live within the district.
