Meeting Set
The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection will hold a quarterly meeting on Friday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the courthouse in Washington.
Speakers will discuss the environmental and ecological impact of the use of herbicides, pesticides and insecticides, especially as they relate to growing fruit in this area. Scheduled participants in the discussion include environmentalist Dr. Raymond Johnson, Dr. Mason W. Reger, Stauffer Chemical representative and Capt George Sharp, Rappahannock orchard ist and owner of Mountain Green Farm.
