the School Board to begin budget work. This “background” session or sessions, Mrs. Massie said, will not be open to the public. Instead, interested individuals will have an opportunity for “input” at the open budget meeting on February 27 and again at a second meeting to be scheduled following Bloomer’s work with the School Board appointees.
Mrs. Massie assured Rappahannock Education Association president Don Bomberger that teachers would have ample opportunity at both public sessions to work with the School Board members on budget requests.
