Amissville Rescue Squad was called to the home of Mrs. Luther Settle on Route 622 February 20, but service was not used. This unit took William King from a traffic crash on Route 211 at Cross Creek to the Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. He was later transferred to Fairfax Hospital by the Warrenton Squad.
February 12 this squad responded to two calls: Charles Kelly was taken from home to Fauquier Hospital and Lewis Butler was taken from home to Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Amissville Fire Company was alerted to a chimney fire February 14 at the home of Elmer Nalls on Route 211 west of Clevengers.
Flint Hill Rescue Squad took Mrs. Effie Cameron from the home of J. P. Walters to Warren Memorial Hospital February 18. On the 21st Mrs. Fannie Starks was taken to Warren Memorial from her home.
Flint Hill Fire Company responded to a chimney fire February 17 to the home of Nancy Gnatt on Route 606.
Mrs. Susie Majors of Sperryville was transported Feb. 20 from her home to Culpeper Memorial Hospital by the Sperryville Rescue Squad.
