Mr. Partlow was born Jul; 2, 1912, in Washington, Va. the son of the late Daisie Fo: and Luther Taylor Partlow He was a 1934 graduate o VPI and was married t< Virginia Plough Lester o Shenandoah who pre deceased him.

He was a retired Ciyi computer manager with i government career spanning 34 years. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the 80th Infantry under General Patton and was twice decorated with the Bronze Star and Oak Leaf Cluster. The last year and a half ol his life he spent as a volunteer in the Veteran’s Hospital pharmacy in Salt Lake City. Surviving Mr. Partlow are a son, Dr. Lester Martin Partlow and four grandchildren, all of Salt Lake City; and a sister, Mrs. Fravel Blades of Venice, Fla.
