Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Dodson are spending the winter in Astor, Fla.
Mrs. Ethel Hitt has returned to the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Eckardt, after being a patient of the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal. Mrs. Gladys Dodson and Mrs. Shirley Dodson were the Wednesday guests of Mrs. Eckardt and Mrs. Hitt.
Mr. and Mrs. Gene M. Dodson are spending two weeks in Florida and will be visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Dodson.
Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bailey on Monday were Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Womack and Wendy of Lanham, Md., and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Compton, Angie, Joy, and Kenny of Rixeyville.
Veterans ’
Edwin L. Pomeroy, Veterans’ Claims Agent for the Commonwealth of Virginia, who made visits to the Rappahannock County Court House at Washington every first and third Monday afternoons, said that he will have to give up these visits until further notice from the Roanoke office.
The Front Royal office is open daily, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and they will be glad to help anyone in matters connected with veterans affairs.
