Workshop
A workshop presenting an overview of the basic principles and concepts of Transactional Analysis will be held at the Culpeper Baptist Church, beginning March 2.
T.A. provides tools for becoming more aware of our own behavior, for communicating with others and for becoming more effective in achieving our own goals, according to a workshop spokesman. Areas to be covered include the analysis of transactions, games people play, life script patterns and creative change.
The leader will be Barbara Thompson, M.Ed., counselor and consultant, who has led workshops for numerous organizations, both public and private. She is a Clinical Candidate member of the International Transactional Analysis Association and has had training at the San Diego Institute for Transactional Analysis as well as at the Western Institute for Group and Family Therapy.
The workshop will be held in four sessions, on Thursday evenings, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., starting on March 2. For further information call 987-8714.
