Also, Davis advised the Planners “to take a whole new look” at the county’s subdivision ordinance. “It has served a useful purpose (and) accomplished our goals up to this point,” he maintained. But he added that he wasn’t sure the ordinance would continue to be effective against growth pressures from adjoining counties. He noted that land suitable for subdivision was fast disappearing in neighboring jurisdictions.
