The Constitution of Virginia requires that you be registered in the precinct in which you live in order to be qualified to vote.
In order to be eligible to vote in the Councilmanic Election to be held on Tuesday, May 2, 1978, you must register no later than 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1,1978.
You are hereby notified that the Registration Office of Rappahannock County located at the address shown below will be open for registration on Saturday, April 1, 1978, from 8 a.m12 noon and 1 p.m -5 p.m.'for the purpose of registering qualified persons to vote at the election to be held tin May 2, 1978.
You are further notified that I shall sit on Saturday, April 22, 1978, and Saturday, April 29, 1978, from 8 a m.-12 noon and 1 p.m.-5 p m. at the address shown below mainly for the purpose of accepting applications for absentee ballots. April 29, 1978, is the last day on which such applications for absentee ballots may be made in person by qualified applicants for this election
