The Mt. Salem Baptist Church near Washington will hold its third annual Easter Service since the restoration was undertaken. The public is invited to attend the service Sunday at 3 p.m.
April Services At
Hopewell Baptist
Sunrise- service will be held at 6 a.m. Easter Sunday with the Rev. James E. Price of Macedonia Baptist in Flint Hill and the church choir. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. for $1.50 for adults and $1 for children under 12.
Easter Sunday the Amity Club anniversary will be celebrated at 3 p.m. following lunch. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Sidney Yancy of Washington, D.C., and his congregation. The pastor, the Rev. U.S. Brokenburr, extends an invitation to everyone.
The Blue Ridge Baptist Institute will be held April 16 through 20 at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Culpeper beginning at 8 each evening. Each church is asked to be represented with at least $20. Pastor of Mt. Olive is the Rev. J.A. Holmes.
