Sheep Dog
Clinic Planned
The fifth sheep dog handlers training clinic sponsored by the United States Border Collie Club will be held at Sunnybrook Farm in White Post on April 20, 21 and 22, starting at 8:30 each morning. In order to give each dog sufficient exposure to sheep, the clinic will run until about 5:00 p.m. each day.
Dogs at the clinic will range in ability from some who have never seen sheep to several that are ready to run in trials. Instruction will vary according to the dog’s ability and amount of previous training.
Lewis Pence of Sidney, Ohio, will again be the instructor. He has been a sheep shearer by trade for over thirty years.
