Westerners A Curiosity
Here in Taiyuan, we are more of a curiosity than in Peking. This city has only recently been opened for tourists. It has a beautiful temple complex built centuries ago. We were shown a | Cyprus alleged to be over 3,000 years old and other very ancient trees. The site of the temple complex was determined by a wonderful spring which never fails. In this part of the country, such an asset would be venerated indeed.
