REPUBLICAN PARTY I, Frances Carney, Chairman of the Republican Party of Rappahannock County, do hereby issue a Call for a mass meeting of all members of the Republican Party of Rappahannock County to be held at the Court House in Washington, Virginia, on Thursday, April 26, 1979, at 8:00 P.Mfor the following purposes: 1 The election of three (3) delegates and three (3) alternates to represent Rappahannock County at the State Convention of the Republican Party of Virginia, which will be held in Roanoke, Va. on June 29 and 30, 1979, for the purpose of transacting such business as may properly come before the convention. 2. The election of three (3) delegates and three (3) alternates to represent Rappahannock County at the Twenty fifth Legislative District convention which will be held at the South Gate Branch of the Fidelity American Bank, Culpeper, Va on Thursday, May 24, 1979, at 8:00 P M., for the purpose of nominating a candidate for the House of Delegates, and such other business as may properly come before the convent ion 3 The election of three (3) delegates and three <3) alternates to represent Rappahannock County at the Twenty-sixth Senatorial District convention which will be held at the Holiday Inn, Culpeper, Virginia, on May 12, 1979, at 10:00 A M., for the purpose of nominating a candidate for the State Senate, and such other business as may properly come before the convention. 4. For the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the mass meeting. There will be no registration fee charged at the mass meeting, and all legal and qualified voters of Rappahannock County regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, or sex, under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who express in open meeting, if requested, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election, may
participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in this mass meeting.
