Special prizes will be donated by local merchants for the top riders in each age category. Part of Gay Street in Washington will be closed off for the little children to ride and the older children and adults will ride on Fodderstack. All ages may participate.
At St. Jude’s, doctors and scientists are studying leukemia, Hodgkin’s Disease and other forms of childhood cancer as well as other deadly diseases that strike the young. The results of research conducted there are freely shared with doctors and scientists all over the world, enabling stricken children to have a better chance to live.
Founded by entertainer Danny Thomas, St. Jude’s is the leader in the battle against these diseases.
"But as long as children are still dying,” Mrs. Moffett said, “St. Jude Children's Hospital must keep fighting. We need your help.”

The Family Circle Singers of Stanley will be at the Gid Brown Hollow Pentecostal Church on Saturday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. The pastor, the Rev. Edward Jenkins, said the public is cordially invited to attend.
