Route 642
Clean Up
Saturday
The Amissville Cub Scouts under the direction of Scoutmaster S. M. Martin, will clean up the roadsides Saturday on Route 642 from Amissville to Viewtown. These are young boys and the public travelling that road are asked and urged to drive slowly and be considerate of these youngsters doing a community service.
This is annual project of the Amissville Cubs and is a great undertaking. Their efforts aid tremendously in preserving the beauty of Rappahannock County and projecting a good image for Garden Week. If adults would be more considerate, they could eliminate the necessity of having to clean up the roads. Remember, do not throw out your tin cans, bottles and trash.

While no one should quit because the going gets rough, it may be wise to take a moment to see if there isn't an easier way to reach the same destination.
