Brian Fitzek was excellent. His voice carried well and portrayed his emotions. It is amazing to have so many young men doing major parts so well. They used to seem reluctent to take these parts.
The scene at the ball was a fun sort of thing with the colorful gowns and the waltzing.
The entire cast was excellent (I can’t think of a better adjective) and they deserved the standing ovation awarded them on the last night.
All the effort was obvious and it was obvious that it paid off.

Elected
Tom Gene Metzinger of Sperryville was recently elected secretary of the Senior Class at Bluefield College for the 1979^80 school year.
As secretary, Metzinger will keep records of all business preceedings of the Senior Class.
An Engineering major at Bluefield, Metzinger has also been very active in the Drama program,
Metzinger is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale J. Metzinger of Sperryville.
