Time is running out to sign-up in this year’s setaside program. Sign-up will end April 30. 1979.
Wool payments totaled $1062.00 for local sheep producers who in 1978 filed for payment in the Wool Incentive Program. Wool Incentive Payments are disbursed because wool is recognized as a very necessary commodity which is not produced in sufficient quantity in the United States. Therefore, this payment is disbursed to encourage the production of high quality wool.
