Both men running for commonwealth attorney, Peter Luke and Douglas Baumgardner, were on the podium along with commissioner of revenue candidates Merle Scoggin, Marilyn Bailey and Ruth Grimsley. Of the contenders for sheriff, only incumbent W. A. Buntin attended the forum. Frances Foster, unopposed for the office of treasurer, also participated.
