Kimble has high hopes for Craig Kenyon, an eighth grader whose placement didn’t count in scoring at this year’s meets. “I expect great things from Craig as a ninth grader. I expect he will be one of my top five runners if he continues to improve,” said Kimble.

A Mutsie apple entered by Rappahannock orchardist George Sharp won honors for the largest apple in the Farmers and Merchants National Bank’s Annual Big Apple Shw held October 24. Capt. Sharp was awarded a $50 prize for his entry. The Sharps own Mountain Green Orchard, located near Washington, Virginia.
