Roberts

Mrs. Amesia M. Roberts of Linden, N. J., died Sunday, October 14, 1979, at Beekman Downtown Hospital, Linden, after a brief illness.

She was born in Washington, Va., and was a member of the First Baptist Church here. She later moved to New York City where she received both her public school education and nursing school training.

Mrs. Roberts was employed as a licensed nurse Beekman Downtown Hospital for the past 15 years and previously for three years at Workmen’s Center for the Aged in Elizabeth, N. J.

Survivors include her husband, James E. Roberts; two daughters, Vanessa Parham and Janice Hamilton, both of Los Angeles, Calif.; her mother, Lajonna Pope of New York City; and her father, Willis Richardson of Washington, D. C.
