In a prepared statement read by assistant superintendent Rob McDaniel, Eldred proposed that the school board meet jointly with the supervisors and accountant Wally Cox to determine exactly how much money is available to finance a capital outlay program for the schools. Then, Eldred wrote, the board should hire an architectural firm with experience in building public schools with public funds, rather than contractions with KDA.
