Birth Announced

Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Hylton of Manassas announce the birth of a son, Jeffrey Daniel, on May 14, 1980 at Fairfax Hospital. Grandparents of the infant are Mr. and Mrs. James R. Hawkins of Centreville. Great-grandparents are Clarence Whorton of Washington and Otis Hawkins of Woodville.

Wilson Earns

Airborne Badge

Pvt. Mitchell F. Wilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Wilson of Viewtown, recently received a Parachutist Badge upon completion of the three-week airborne course at the U. S. Army Infantry School, Fort Benning, Ga.

During the first week of training, Wilson underwent a rigorous physical training program and received instruction in the theory of parachuting. The second week, he received practical training by jumping from 34foot and 250-foot towers. The final week included five static-line parachute jumps.

Wilson entered the Army in January 1980.
