"Do we want to sift through the wheat and the chaff ourselves or pay somebody else to?”’
Agreeing with a suggestion from Walter Masterson, the majority of the board —Stokes, Eastham and Masterson—voted to accept KDA’s $7,000 proposal for an educational consultant, provided McCormick’s credentials check out. In a second vote, the same majority added $7,000 to the proposed budget for 1980-81 with Mrs. Massie again voting in opposition.
