Cynthia Heather Cumins of Sperryville received a B. A. degree in English from Longwood College, Farmville at graduation exercises on Saturday, May 17. She graduated magna cum laude in the class of 502 receiving degrees.
Cindy is the daughter of Mrs. Dawson Nail of Falls Church and Sidney Cumins of Long Island, N. Y. and the granddaughter of Mrs. Ruth Perkins of Sperryville with whom she makes her home. She was graduated from Rappahannock County High School. She was an English major ind the recipient of the William Frank Booth award or excellence in English. Her ninor was in art. She was a member of Mpha Lambda, a freshman cholastic honorary; of -ambda Lota Tau, a national inglish honorary; of Phi Cappa Phi, an academic lonorary; and Kappa Delta *i, honor society in ducation.
